I've not used a monitor with 1,000nits. However, the monitor I'm using now has 2,600nits and I can't imaging using anything less at this point. I shoot a lot in very bright sunlight and my 2,600nit monitor has saved me so much headache because the screen is so clear in extremely sunny conditions. Thanks for the review though....gives me a point of reference as to what else is out there.

Any tips on a good tripod for film pinhole photography?

Does Focus Pro system work with the native autofocus lenses without the focus motor? Can I simply add it to gh5 with Panasonic lens and get precise autofocus ?

Thanks for the video. I really never took the sigma seriously because it lacks on lens aperture control and for photos i almost always use aperture priority. For video though, this lens could make a lot of sense, and it is much more rectilinear than the 12mm. The warpy hand motion effect on the 12 is distracting.

damn i am between the 28-70 or the 24-105 is the size difference between these two significant? I am looking to video 9-10 year old soccer games maybe the 105 reach will be needed or should the 70 be enough?

I bought an "open box excellent" S5IIX with the 20-60 kit lens from Best Buy for $1834. The pictures it takes out of the box are incredible. The 6K 30 full frame video is top shelf for sure. I just ordered "used, like new" 70-300 F4.5-5 6 and 70-200 F4 Lumix zoom lenses from Amazon Warehouse for around $800 each. Can't wait to try them out and then decide which one to keep.

Camera rig doesn't have electronics circuits, firmware and motors that tends to malfunction after few months. It doesn't have built in batteries that may die after few months or year.

Awesome review!! Can you also test it in bright sunny environments. I want to know if the Lidar will be effected by it or is it still extremely viable

I have an EOS-M, never really used it. I have 5D, a 6D and a 70D. But I am a portrait photograhper. I had ML installed on a 7D (I do miss that camera). But now I bougth a microphone and a couple of small LED ligths. I think I will try ML out on the M. :)
